Join us in October as Research Specialist Laurel Neuman shows us how to research your early Texas ancestors in the map records of the Texas General Land Office (GLO).  The GLO recently released a new map store and database (www.HistoricTexasMaps.com), and the land grant search interface has recently changed. In addition to a brief overview of the records housed in the GLO Archives, this presentation will show how to navigate the new sites and how to dig deeper into the historic maps and sketches at the GLO, alongside the GLO GIS Mapping System to find your ancestors.
