Examples: If you have a document you can’t read, post a photo of it on Genealogy Translations and you’ll get help whether it’s in a foreign language or you just can’t read the handwriting. Join The Organized Genealogist for hundreds of ideas on organizing documents, photos, or any organizational questions. Most of our states and many counties have Facebook pages. Join the ones where your ancestors lived, post your questions and look for family connections. Scroll the page for old photos that have been posted. On Greenup County Kentucky History, I found an 1890 photo of a gathering of civil war vets that were still living in that county. Maybe Steve’s gg grandfather is in that photo? Well, if he isn’t, it’s still a great photo of men he served with. Do you have German ancestors? Join German Genealogy to ask questions and get leads. Technology for Genealogists is helpful.
